PTTD Recovery Checklist

Use this checklist to keep your posterior tibial tendon dysfunction care consistent week to week. It is designed as a practical companion to your clinician’s plan, not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment.

Daily Tracking

  • Pain level (0-10) in the morning and evening
  • Swelling location and severity
  • Walking tolerance and standing tolerance
  • Any aggravating activity that increased symptoms

Weekly Care Adherence

  • Physical therapy sessions completed
  • Home exercise sessions completed
  • Orthotic or brace usage consistency
  • Footwear compliance (supportive shoe use)

Escalation Triggers

  • Pain worsening despite rest and adherence
  • Progressive arch collapse or instability
  • New lateral ankle pain with activity limits
  • Inability to perform previously tolerated activities
